Rydex Basic Materials Fund 

The fund primarily allocates at least 80% of its net assets to equity investments in U.S.-traded Basic Materials Companies, supplemented by derivative instruments. It maintains the flexibility to make significant allocations to Basic Materials Companies with small to mid-sized market capitalizations. Basic Materials Companies are characterized as firms engaged in the manufacturing, mining, processing, or distribution of raw materials and intermediate goods crucial to the industrial sector, with activities potentially extending to the production and transportation of materials such as metals, textiles, and wood products.
