This fund aims to deliver significant capital appreciation over an extended period. It typically allocates at least 80% of its total assets, including any funds acquired through borrowing, to equity-related investments. These investments focus on companies that are headquartered, incorporated, or conduct the majority of their business or hold most of their assets in emerging market countries. This can include stakes in other investment funds that pursue similar emerging market strategies. The fund also has the flexibility to employ a "fund of funds" model, investing in various underlying pooled investment vehicles, or a "manager of managers" approach, where it appoints several experienced investment managers as subadvisers.
