By the end of 2021 (December 31st), CL&P was servicing roughly 1.27 million customers with franchise electric services across 149 towns and cities in Connecticut, covering a geographic footprint of 4,400 square miles. Established in 1927, the company's main office is situated in Berlin, Connecticut. CL&P is an affiliate of Eversource Energy.
