Pan Pacific International 

Pan Pacific International Holdings Corporation (PPIH) is a retail powerhouse managing a diverse portfolio of stores, alongside real estate ventures. The company's operations are structured into three primary segments. Its Discount Store Business encompasses convenience and discount outlets under the renowned "Don Quijote" brand, in addition to general discount formats like "MEGA Don Quijote" and "MEGA Don Quijote UNY." The General Merchandise Store (GMS) Business oversees "APITA" general supermarkets and the smaller "PIAGO" supermarket chain. Lastly, the Rent Business segment is dedicated to the leasing and administration of retail properties for various tenants. Beyond these, PPIH also actively participates in real estate management. As of October 31, 2020, PPIH boasted a vast network of 631 stores globally, with the majority (579) situated in Japan. Its international footprint included 28 stores in Hawaii, 10 in California (USA), 4 in Hong Kong, 2 in Thailand, and 8 in Singapore. Founded in 1980, the Tokyo-headquartered enterprise rebranded to Pan Pacific International Holdings Corporation in February 2019, having previously operated as Don Quijote Holdings Co., Ltd.
