Wilmar International Limited, a leading agribusiness conglomerate headquartered in Singapore, boasts a vast operational footprint spanning Southeast Asia, China, India, Europe, Australia/New Zealand, and Africa. Its diverse activities are structured across four primary divisions. The Food Products segment focuses on the production, marketing, and sale of a wide array of consumer edibles. This includes vegetable oils derived from palm and other oilseeds, alongside staples such as sugar, flour, rice, noodles, and various specialty items like fats, snacks, baked goods, and dairy products. Its Feed and Industrial Products division is responsible for the manufacture, trade, and supply of goods such as animal feed ingredients, non-food palm and lauric derivatives, various agricultural commodities, oleochemicals, gas oil, and sustainable biodiesels. The Plantation and Sugar Milling unit manages the cultivation and processing of both palm oil and sugarcane. Lastly, the "Others" segment provides essential logistical and port services. As of the close of 2021, Wilmar commanded a significant oil palm plantation portfolio, encompassing 230,480 hectares across Indonesia, Malaysia, and Africa. Founded in 1991, the company initially operated under the name Ezyhealth Asia Pacific Ltd before rebranding as Wilmar International Limited in July 2006.
