District Copper Corp. engages in the acquisition and exploration of mineral properties. The company holds a 100% interest in the Stony Lake gold project, consisting of eight mineral licenses covering an area of approximately 13,625 hectares located in Central Newfoundland. It has an option to acquire a 100% interest in the Copper Keg project comprising 3,272 hectares located in the northern boundary of the Guichon Creek batholith, British Columbia. In addition, the company holds interest in the Eaglehead property consisting of six mineral claim covering an area of 15,956 hectares located in Central British Columbia, as well as holds interest in Matachewan Gold Project covering an area of approximately 1,328 hectares located in Ontario. The company was formerly known as Carmax Mining Corp. and changed its name to District Copper Corp. in July 2018.
