For all the promotion of its dividend, O's current share price is equal to its value in October of 2015. With all the acquisitions O should be growing in value as well.

This can actually be easily attributed to the current interest rate policy. If the interest rate turnaround happens, O will also go up. According to some analysts, it could even reach over 40 percent. 👍🏻

I love O as well but if you'd put your money literally elsewhere even other REITs you would have made a lot. O has been a losing player for 5 years. Monthly dividend isn't everything.

That depends on your investment strategy and goals. Of course, it's not an NVIDIA, but those who want recurring income from their investment, for example to supplement their pension, may prefer this one with its almost guaranteed dividend.
