The "young man" is a beginner and has asked for advice. Empathy is key here. Generally, one should not give advice here. Discussing one stock or another is a great thing among experienced investors. What we lack are the key details. How old is he? How much money does he want to invest? Is he single? Does he need to support a wife and child? What are his return expectations? How does his psyche handle a 50% drop in stock price? etc. Wirecard was also a hot tip.

Core / Satellite Strategy. A good large ETF as a foundation and a few individual stocks as a supplement 👍🏻 With this, you really can't go wrong. Although I have to say, I do it the other way around 😆

So you have a single stock as the foundation and ETFs as satellites around it 😁

For me, it's a mix of about 50 stocks and 10 ETFs... and 2 old funds 😜... though I'll slowly part with most individual stocks 🤫

6 ETFs, 7 stocks. I used to have more stocks, but if the performance isn't DEVELOPED WORLD, then it's time for a reshuffle. :-D
