Securities may be payable in both US and foreign currencies. The fund can also invest in equity securities, preferred stock, convertible securities or equity equivalents via derivatives. The selection process uses a sector rotation approach based on a model that includes both fundamental and quantitative inputs. Buy and sell decisions consider global macroeconomic outlook, alternative investments, interest rates and various credit metrics. The fund may also use derivatives to generate income or hedge exposure.
