Its clientele spans sectors including chemical manufacturing, paints and pigments, food and beverages, oil and gas, industrial coatings, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, and mineral processing, among others. Furthermore, flexible IBCs and their associated services are specifically supplied to agricultural, construction, and food-related businesses. The Paper Packaging & Services segment is dedicated to the creation and distribution of containerboard, corrugated sheets and boxes, and a variety of other corrugated and specialized paper items. These products serve clients across the packaging, automotive, food, and construction material industries. This segment also manufactures both coated and uncoated recycled paperboard and processes recycled fiber. Its corrugated containers are widely utilized for transporting a diverse array of goods, ranging from household appliances and compact machinery to groceries, automotive parts, literature, and furniture, in addition to numerous other uses. Within the Land Management division, activities involve the harvesting and reforestation of its timber holdings, as well as the sale of timberland and properties designated for special purposes. As of the end of October 2021, this division managed approximately 175,000 acres of forested land primarily situated in the southeastern United States. Established in 1877, Greif, Inc. was previously known as Greif Bros. Corporation before adopting its current name in 2001. Its corporate headquarters are located in Delaware, Ohio.
