The Janus Henderson Small-Mid Cap Value Fund aims to achieve its investment objectives by primarily focusing on a specific type of equity. Under normal operating conditions, the fund dedicates at least 80% of its total assets (including any capital obtained through borrowing for investment purposes) to purchasing common stocks. These stocks are issued by small and mid-sized companies. The fund defines these companies as those whose market capitalization does not exceed the 12-month average of the maximum market capitalization found within the Russell 2500™ Value Index. Additionally, the fund's portfolio managers retain the flexibility to increase its holdings in cash or similar liquid investments.
