Under normal circumstances, this fund allocates a minimum of 80% of its net assets—including any borrowed capital for investment purposes—to common stocks of small-capitalization companies. The portfolio manager primarily targets U.S. businesses whose market value (derived from multiplying outstanding shares by their price) falls within the range of the Russell Microcap Index. This size determination is made at the time of initial purchase and is based on the index's annual rebalancing in June.
